Design your cornhole boards

A regulation pair, 24 by 48 inches, built here top to bottom: carved solid hardwood or birch plywood tops, hardwood frames and folding legs. Carve a name, a team or a crest on each board. The two can match or be different. Work through the steps and we'll draw it to size as you go. Anything you should know shows up right in the step it's about.

Step 1 Where will this cornhole boards live?

We ask first because it decides which woods will hold up there. Better to know now than after you've fallen for a design.

Inside a home, office or store. Anything we make will last there.

On a covered porch or under the eaves. Out of direct rain and sun, but not heated.

Direct sun and rain. It's the toughest spot for anything made of wood, so some woods aren't offered here.

You're getting a pair. Most folks make them match. Want them different? Pick a board here and design each one.

Step 5 The hole

A 6" hole, cut all the way through. It's the regulation size and spot — a board with a different hole isn't a cornhole board — so there's nothing to choose here.

Step 6 Lettering above the hole

Choose a material in step 2 first. What we can carve depends on it.

Unfilled means the carving is left bare, and the shadow in the groove makes it stand out. It costs less, and there's no fill color to clash with the board.
